The Central Medical Warehouse (MoPH) succeeded in delivering
all UNICEF medicines as planned in 2003: 100 per cent of
deliveries were administered as planned, 62.5 per cent were
delivered within the planned month, with the remaining 37.%
per cent being delivered late. This is a good job
considering the logistical difficulties confronting MoPH in
distributing medicines to more than 2500 Ri clinics/hospitals
and 141 county/provincial hospitals.
